This weekend will be filled with Catamount basketball as the men’s and women’s teams play in a double header on Saturday, Feb. 7.
The madness starts today, Feb. 5, at 7 p.m. as the men’s team takes on the Samford Bulldogs. This is the men’s first game back at home following a three game road skid. The Cats lost to Samford in their last meeting so a win will be on their mind.
Saturday’s festivities start at 2 p.m. as the Lady Cats take on East Tennessee State. The Lady Cats are currently on a two game losing streak and will try to get back in rhythm as they take on the Bucs.
Then later on Saturday afternoon, the men will be back in action as they play the Mocs of UT Chattanooga. The Mocs are currently second in the Southern Conference, so the Cats will have an opportunity to slay another giant in the SoCon.
