WCU Women’s Basketball on 5 game win streak

The Western Carolina University women’s basketball team is currently on a five game winning streak, giving them an overall record of 5-3 on the season. This is a much improved start for the team after last season’s overall record of 7-23.
The team has a group of 5 seniors who are determined to leave their mark on the program.
“It’s our last year to play and we just really want to end our careers on a good note. I think everyone has really stepped up their intensity and play and that has been the difference so far,” said senior Alex Abraham.
The Catamounts hope to extend their streak with their next game vs. Charleston Southern on December 16 in the Ramsey Center.
