This semester the Cat’s Den will be offering free games and activities Tuesday through Friday from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.

The Cat’s Den, located in the Brown Building, has multiple arcade games, ping pong tables, billiard tables, air hockey, board games and more.

When you enter have one of the workers swipe your cat card or give them your 920# so you can rent out equipment for the games.

The newest additions are a full putt putt course, ski ball, and the Nintendo Wii. Some of the Wii games available are Donkey Kong, Michael Jackson Experience, Mario Kart, and Wii sports.

The Cat’s Den offers programs like dance parties, movie nights, gaming tournaments and more. April 13, they will have a “Paint Your Own Pottery Claymates Night”.

To get more students to come to the den those in charge are going to make it more visible.

“We are working on getting banners printed and hung on the front and back of the building, and we also just put in “open” signs to show students that we’re there, and open,” said Lori Davis, assistant director for programs.

Even though the Cat’s Den is closed on Saturday, reservations can be made through the information and reservations coordinator, Jill Lindsay. Reservation forms are available online or in the University Center. The rental fee can run from $40 to $65 depending on the organization or department renting it out.
