Get involved! Come to the Service Learning fair

The Western Carolina University Center for Service Learning will be hosting the 8th Annual Service Learning Fair on Tuesday, Jan. 29 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The fair will take place in the U.C. Grandroom which is located on the 3rd floor of the University Center.

This year the service fair will have representatives from over 40 organizations. Some of the major focus topics among the organizations are the environment, hunger and homelessness, health care, and animals. Some of the organizations are on campus, but most are local.

“This is a great event for students who need to complete service learning projects and required community service, as well as for those who are interested in making a difference in their community,” said Jennifer Cooper, Assistant Director of the Service Learning Center.

For more information about the Service Learning Fair or service learning projects contact Jennifer Cooper at jacooper@wcu.edu or at (828)-227-2595.
