Hundreds of Western Carolina University students crowded the Ramsey Center to rock out to country singer Kip Moore.
Kip Moore, a Georgia native, was the headliner event for Resolutions 2013 sponsored by AK Hinds University Center and Residential Living on Wednesday, Jan. 16.
Kip Moore just finished a long stent on a tour opening for Eric Church and Justin Moore in 2012. WCU was the first stop on his 2013 solo tour.
Kip Moore has recently burst on to the country music scene with the release of his first number one single, “Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck” from his freshman album UP ALL NIGHT. “Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck” was followed by two more Billboard Top 50 hits, “Beer Money” and “Hey Pretty Girl”.
In an interview before the concert Kip Moore talked about becoming an artist and his career.
