This season, the intramural basketball league is getting underway.
Basketball is one of the more competitive sports on campus in terms of participation and has five leagues this year: Men’s A (for more competitive teams), Men’s B (for teams wanting to have fun), Coed, Greek, and Women’s.
While some teams have signed up and are simply awaiting their first games, others have gotten together on a routine basis to practice and warm up for the season.
“I’ve been in the gym everyday trying to get back in shape,” said Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity’s team co-captain Steve Davis. “I can’t wait to see all my hard work pay off.”
While a couple early games were played last week, the majority of teams will see their first action in the coming days.
